Report on renewal of accreditation of two higher education courses of study offered by ICHM Pty Ltd
On 28 November 2023, a delegate of TEQSA renewed, under section 56 of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), the accreditation of the following courses offered by ICHM Pty Ltd:
- Bachelor of Business (Hospitality Management), until 30 October 2027, to align with the accreditation of the nested Diploma of Business (Hospitality Management) and Associate Degree of Business (Hospitality Management):
- Undergraduate Certificate of Hotel, Tourism and Hospitality Operations, until 30 June 2025, a reduced accreditation period which is consistent with the implementation arrangements under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
Main reasons for the decision
TEQSA made this decision on the basis that it was satisfied that the courses submitted by ICHM Pty Ltd for renewal of accreditation continue to meet the applicable Standards of the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2021.
