Report on renewal of CRICOS registration of The University of Western Australia

On 6 June 2023, TEQSA renewed, under section 10E of the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000 (ESOS Act), the CRICOS registration of The University of Western Australia for a period of seven years until 6 June 2030.

Main reasons for the decision

TEQSA made this decision on the basis that it was satisfied that The University of Western Australia continues to meet the requirements of the ESOS Act and the National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training 2018 (National Code).

On 23 June 2023, a delegate of TEQSA renewed, under section 56 of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), the accreditation of the following course in teach out mode offered by Edith Cowan College Pty Ltd (formerly Perth Institute of Business and Technology Pty Ltd) (EC College), until 30 December 2024:

• Diploma of Science (Health Studies).

No new enrolments are permitted in the above course.
