Report on extension of accreditation of three higher education courses of study offered by UOWC Ltd

On 14 December 2021, a delegate of TEQSA extended, under section 57A of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), the accreditation of the following courses offered by UOWC Ltd (formerly ITC Education Ltd):

• Diploma of Information Technology from 17 March 2023 to 17 March 2025
• Diploma of Business from 17 March 2023 to 17 March 2025
• Diploma of Social Science from 21 October 2023 to 21 October 2025.

Main reason for the decision

TEQSA made this decision in order to reduce the administrative burden of regulation for the provider in response to COVID-19 and its impact on the higher education sector. This decision is consistent with the principles set out in TEQSA's policy on extensions to the period of provider registration or course accreditation, including an assessment of risks associated with the extension.

Provider category change

Report on provider category change for Alphacrucis College Limited

On 25 January 2022, TEQSA made a decision, under section 38 of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), to change the provider category of Alphacrucis College Limited from Higher Education Provider to University College.

Main reasons for the decision

This decision was made on the basis that TEQSA is satisfied that Alphacrucis College Limited meets the applicable category standards.

The decision to change provider category is a reviewable decision under section 183 of the TEQSA Act.

Extension of accreditation period

Report on extension of accreditation of one higher education course of study offered by Chisholm Institute (formerly Chisholm Institute of Technical and Further Education)

On 20 January 2022 a delegate of TEQSA extended, under section 57A of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), the accreditation of the following course offered by Chisholm Institute (formerly Chisholm Institute of Technical and Further Education):

• Undergraduate Certificate in Community Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs from 25 November 2022 to 29 October 2024.
