Under subsection 41(1) of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), TEQSA has authorised The National Institute of Dramatic Art to self-accredit courses of study at AQF levels 7 to 9 (to Masters degrees (coursework)), in the following fields of study:
- 100103 Drama and Theatre Studies
- 100105 Dance
- 100199 Performing Arts, n.e.c.
- 109999 Creative Arts, n.e.c.
Main Reasons for Decision
The National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) has demonstrated to TEQSA that it meets the Threshold Standards, including the criteria for authorising 'self-accrediting authority', in relation to courses of study at AQF levels 7 to 9 (to Masters degrees (coursework)) in the fields of study identified above.
The scope of the assessment included all Australian sites.
