TEQSA has determined, under Section 21(1) of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (the TEQSA Act), that registration of Institute of Health and Management Pty Ltd as a higher education provider be granted for a period of seven years to 22 January 2022 in the provider category of 'Higher Education Provider'.
TEQSA has determined, under Sections 49(1) and 49(6) of the TEQSA Act, to grant accreditation of the following higher education courses of study offered by Institute of Health and Management Pty Ltd until 22 January 2022:
- Graduate Certificate in Nursing (Non-Specialisation)
- Graduate Diploma in Nursing
- Graduate Diploma of Nursing (Specialisation - Paediatric Nursing)
Background to Decision
Institute of Health and Management Pty Ltd submitted an application for registration in the category of 'Higher Education Provider' under Part 3 of the TEQSA Act. Section 25 of the TEQSA Act requires a registered higher education provider to offer at least one accredited course. The application process included consideration of an application for accreditation of higher education courses of study, under Part 4 of the TEQSA Act.

As part of the initial registration process, TEQSA has assessed the registration and course accreditation for the Graduate Certificate in Nursing (Non Specialisation), Graduate Diploma in Nursing and Graduate Diploma of Nursing (Paediatric Nursing) submitted by Institute of Health and Management Pty Ltd against the Threshold Standards for Provider Registration and Course Accreditation.
