Renewal of course accreditation

Report on renewal of accreditation of seven higher education courses of study offered by Melbourne Polytechnic (formerly Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE)

On 27 November 2024, a delegate of TEQSA renewed, under section 56 of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), the accreditation of the following courses offered by Melbourne Polytechnic (formerly Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE), for a period of seven years until 27 November 2031:

• Bachelor of Business
• Associate Degree of Business
• Bachelor of Hospitality Management
• Associate Degree of Hospitality Management
• Bachelor of Accounting
• Associate Degree of Accounting
• Associate Degree of Veterinary Nursing

Main reasons for the decision

TEQSA made this decision on the basis that it was satisfied that the courses submitted by Melbourne Polytechnic for renewal of accreditation continue to meet the applicable Standards of the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2021.
