Report on renewal of registration and accreditation of Australian Institute of Business and Management Pty Ltd

On 22 May 2024, TEQSA renewed:

• under section 36 of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), the registration of the Australian Institute of Business and Management Pty Ltd as an Institute of Higher Education, for a period of 7 years from the date of this decision.
• under section 56 of the TEQSA Act, the application by the Australian Institute of Business and Management Pty Ltd for renewal of accreditation of the Bachelor of Information Technology for a period of 7 years from the date of this decision.

Main reasons for the decision

TEQSA made this decision on the basis that it was satisfied that the Australian Institute of Business and Management Pty Ltd continues to meet the applicable Standards of the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2021.

TEQSA found that the Australian Institute of Business and Management Pty Ltd had demonstrated:

• sustained and effective efforts to improve student performance and attrition,
• strong support for student participation in its decision-making processes
