Report on the accreditation of five higher education courses of study offered by The Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors Pty Ltd

On 23 March 2023, a delegate of TEQSA accredited, under section 49 of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), the following courses offered by The Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors Pty Ltd, for a period of seven years until 23 March 2030:

• Graduate Certificate in Counselling Practice
• Graduate Certificate in Relationship Counselling
• Graduate Certificate in Mental Health Counselling
• Graduate Certificate in Child and Youth Counselling
• Graduate Certificate in Family Counselling.

Main reasons for the decision

TEQSA made this decision on the basis that it was satisfied that the courses submitted by The Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors Pty Ltd for accreditation meet the applicable Standards of the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2021.
