Extension of accreditation period

Report on extension of accreditation of fifteen higher education courses of study offered by Technical and Further Education Commission

On 7 December 2021 a delegate of TEQSA extended, under section 57A of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), the accreditation of the following courses offered by Technical and Further Education Commission:

• Undergraduate Certificate in Adult Education from 31 December 2021 to 8 November 2023
• Undergraduate Certificate in Sustainable Practice from 31 December 2021 to 22 December 2023
• Undergraduate Certificate in Property Valuation from 31 December 2021 to 23 March 2024
• Undergraduate Certificate in Data Engineering from 31 December 2021 to 29 May 2024
• Undergraduate Certificate in Commercial and Tax Law from 31 December 2021 to 23 March 2024
• Undergraduate Certificate in Financial Accounting Theory and Audit from 31 December 2021 to 23 March 2024
• Undergraduate Certificate in Business Management from 31 December 2021 to 23 March 2024
• Undergraduate Certificate in Early Childhood Inclusive Practices (formerly UC in Early Childhood Special Needs) from 31 December 2021 to 8 November 2023
• Undergraduate Certificate in Finance and Investment from 31 December 2021 to 23 March 2024
• Undergraduate Certificate in Foundations of Early Childhood Education from 31 December 2021 to 8 November 2023
• Undergraduate Certificate in Network Security from 31 December 2021 to 24 March 2024
• Undergraduate Certificate in Network Engineering from 31 December 2021 to 24 March 2024
• Undergraduate Certificate in Supporting Families and First Nations People and Communities from 31 December 2021 to 29 March 2024
• Undergraduate Certificate in Working with Families at Risk from 31 December 2021 to 29 March 2024
• Undergraduate Certificate in Renewable Energy Engineering from 31 December 2021 to 10 October 2022.

TEQSA made this decision consistent with the principles set out in TEQSA's policy on extensions to the period of provider registration or course accreditation, including an assessment of risks associated with the extension.
