Renewal of course accreditation

Report on renewal of accreditation of three higher education courses of study offered by Melbourne Polytechnic

On 06 April 2023, a delegate of TEQSA renewed, under section 56 of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), the accreditation of the following courses offered by Melbourne Polytechnic, for a period of seven years until 06 April 2030:

• Bachelor of Songwriting and Music Production
• Associate Degree of Songwriting and Music Production.

On 06 April 2023, a delegate of TEQSA renewed, under section 56 of the TEQSA Act, the accreditation of the following course offered by Melbourne Polytechnic, to 30 June 2025:

• Undergraduate Certificate in Songwriting and Music Production.

Main reasons for the decision

TEQSA made this decision on the basis that it was satisfied that the courses submitted by Melbourne Polytechnic for renewal of accreditation continue to meet the applicable Standards of the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2021.
