Report on renewal of accreditation of sixteen higher education courses of study offered by SAE Institute Pty Limited

On 30 November 2020, a delegate of TEQSA renewed, under section 56 of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), the accreditation of the following courses offered by SAE Institute Pty Limited, for a period of seven years until 30 November 2027:

• Bachelor of Film (Production)
• Bachelor of Film (Post Production)
• Associate Degree of Film
• Bachelor of Games Development (Games Design)
• Bachelor of Games Development (Games Programming)
• Associate Degree of Games Development
• Bachelor of Audio (Post Production)
• Bachelor of Audio (Studio Production)
• Associate Degree of Audio
• Bachelor of Animation (3D Modelling)
• Bachelor of Animation (Character Animation)
• Bachelor of Animation (Visual Effects)
• Associate Degree of Animation
• Bachelor of Design (Graphic Design)
• Bachelor of Design (Web Design)
• Associate Degree of Design.

Main reasons for the decision

TEQSA made these decisions on the basis that it was satisfied that the courses submitted by SAE Institute Pty Limited for renewal of accreditation continue to meet the Provider Course Accreditation Standards of the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2015.
