On 20 December 2024, TEQSA changed, under section 38 of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), the category in which the Australian College of Theology Limited is registered from University College to Australian University.

Main reasons for the decision

TEQSA made this decision on the basis that it was satisfied that the Australian College of Theology Limited continues to meet the applicable Standards of the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2021.
