Extension of accreditation period

Report on extension of accreditation of nineteen higher education courses of study offered by William Angliss Institute of TAFE

On 07 April 2022, a delegate of TEQSA extended, under section 57A of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), the accreditation of the following courses offered by William Angliss Institute of TAFE:

• Bachelor of Food Studies from 12 October 2022 to 30 June 2025
• Bachelor of Food Studies (Community Engagement) from 12 October 2022 to 30 June 2025
• Undergraduate Certificate of Food Studies from 12 October 2022 to 30 June 2025
• Associate Degree in Tourism from 21 June 2023 to 30 June 2025
• Bachelor of Culinary Arts and Sciences from 21 June 2023 to 30 June 2025
• Bachelor of Culinary Arts and Sciences (Professional Practice) from 21 June 2023 to 30 June 2025

Main reasons for the decision

TEQSA made this decision consistent with the principles set out in TEQSA's policy on extensions to the period of provider registration or course accreditation, including an assessment of risks associated with the extension.
