Extension of accreditation period

Report on extension of accreditation of five higher education courses of study offered by Educational Enterprises Australia Pty Ltd

On 31 July 2020, a delegate of TEQSA extended, under section 57A of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), the accreditation of the following courses offered by Educational Enterprises Australia Pty Ltd:

• Diploma of Business from 10 July 2022 to 10 July 2025
• Diploma of Business Studies from 10 July 2022 to 10 July 2025
• Diploma of Computing and Information Technology from 10 July 2022 to 10 July 2025
• Diploma of Computing and Information Technology Studies from 10 July 2022 to 10 July 2025
• Diploma of Engineering from 10 July 2022 to 10 July 2025

Main reasons for the decision

TEQSA made this decision in order to reduce the administrative burden of regulation for the provider in response to COVID-19 and its impact on the higher education sector. This decision is consistent with the principles set out in TEQSA's policy on extensions to the period of provider registration or course accreditation, including an assessment of risks associated with the extension.
