Report on application accreditation of one higher education course of study by Technical and Further Education Commission

On 05 February 2018 a delegate of TEQSA rejected, under section 49 of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), the application by Technical and Further Education Commission for accreditation of the following course of study:

• Bachelor of Architectural Technology.

Main reasons for the decision

TEQSA made this decision on the basis that it was not satisfied that the course submitted by Technical and Further Education Commission complies with the following provisions of the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2015:

1. Sections 1.3, 1.4, 3.1, 3.2, and 5.1 of Part A, in relation to:
   
   1. methods of assessment
   2. learning outcomes
   3. course design
   4. staffing
   5. course approval and accreditation.
