TEQSA launches Stakeholder Survey
TEQSA has begun a national stakeholder survey to gain feedback on its performance over the past 12 months.
Almost 240 people representing higher education providers and relevant peak and professional bodies have been invited to take part in the 2016-17 survey, which runs from 13 July to 3 August 2017.
TEQSA conducted its first sector-wide survey in 2016. It is an important accountability measure and helps the agency identify areas where it can improve its performance.
Australian Survey Research (ASR) has been engaged to administer the survey. ASR will email participants directly with a unique link so they can do the survey online at a time that is convenient.
TEQSA Chief Executive Anthony McClaran urged people to take part in the survey: “Our relationship with the sector is an extremely important one. We therefore need to understand the impact we have and how we might make changes to improve the way we interact with providers and stakeholders.”
He said that having data from two consecutive years – last year and this year – would be particularly valuable for TEQSA because it now had a benchmark against which to compare the results.
